Ugh I hate getting ready to go somewhere. I always over pack. Ive been freaking out about getting on the flight and not being prepared...what if sophia, vomits, has diarreah, do i have enough clothes and meds. plus what if she gets bored and there is on onflight entertainment (last time the entertainment was on and off for most of the flight). So i tend to overbuy and overpack... we got on the flight armed and ready! Lots of jackets, diapers, books, toys, lg with movies downloaded, dvd player, dolly to take care of, new clothes for the dolly, pb and j, snacks, etc. plus all of that has to fit into a backpack that can fit under the chair and all the electronic stuff must be easily accessable and all liquids must be less than 100 ml and put into a plastic bag. i can see why nobody flies anymore, i swear with all the extra charges and all the rules, flying is such a pain in the butt now! itd be easier to take a boat or swim.
