Simona and Massimo have asked us several times to dinner. But when Massimo is in town, Max is out of town and vice versa, so we never get together. Finally both are in town and there was a labor day get together at their house in Cerro al Lambro (towards Pavia). They bought the house a little over a year ago and have been fixing it up since, so this is the first time we've seen it in a year.

See all the stains on the new table cloth, I did it. Good gravy i had mani di burro, i spilled everything last night...water, coke, balsamic vinegar and then a big giant cup of red wine! Now i know why they dont have us over very often and now im sure it will be another year before they invite us back!
